Family Health is a Community Health Center in Greenville, Ohio located in Darke County (home of Annie Oakley). Our mission at Family Health is to help our patients build healthy lives for themselves and their families. We believe that true health is more than the absence of disease. Feeling good about our lives is our best defense against disease.  We are committed to reduce the financial and personal burden of illness.

We believe a healthy life exhibits a strong self-image, supportive relationships, a positive belief in our ability to change and adjust to new circumstances, and a sense of harmony with our inner spirit. We are here to help you achieve greater satisfaction in any of these areas.

Here's to your good health...!

Family Health strongly recommends all those at risk get an influenza vaccine this year!

The seasonal vaccine is not expected to protect against the H1N1 flu and the H1N1 flu vaccine is not intended to replace the seasonal flu vaccine. Each protects against a different strain of virus and is intended to be used along-side the other.

Who is at risk for H1N1?  The Center for Disease Control has identified these groups:

  1. Pregnant women
  2. Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age.
  3. Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
  4. All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
  5. Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.

What are your options?
  1. The Darke County Health Department.  They have a full stock and are offering the vaccine to patients of any age with health conditions - H1N1 FLU CLINIC DATES
  2. Local Pharmacies
  3. Some local nursing homes and local visiting nurse programs
  4. Family Health does not have influenza vaccine at this time.  We may get them at a later date and will post availability here as soon as it arrives.
